Burnout Paradise Remastered will not, it seems, include microtransactions. After the PS4, Xbox One, and PC remaster was announced yesterday, some fans spotted that the game’s PlayStation Store listing stated it would include optional “in-game purchases.” The message is still present on the store listing, but EA says the note is a mistake. “The store listing for Burnout Paradise that mentions ‘in-game purchases optional’ is an error,” said EA’s community engagement manager, Ben Walke. “There is no MTX or any additional paid for content. Burnout Paradise Remastered Announced For PS4, Xbox One, And PC

Burnout Paradise is getting a current-gen remaster, publisher EA has confirmed. The racing game has been given a PS4 and Xbox One release date of March 16, while the PC version is coming “later this year.” Burnout Paradise Remastered will include the base game and eight add-on packs–including the open-world expansion Big Surf Island–as well as the Legendary Cars pack, which brought vehicles based on those from movies such as Back to the Future and Ghostbusters.
